The Colorado Pickleball Challenge2ConquerALS is a Charity Event that will take place on June 4, 2022 at Apex Pickleball Courts in Arvada. The event will support ALS Research and Awareness. ALS, aka Lou Gehrig Disease. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. This results in the wasting away of muscle, loss of movement and eventual paralysis, unfortunately leading to death. Currently there is no cure for ALS. 
There is an estimated 30,000 people living with ALS in the US. Every 90 minutes, some is diagnosed with ALS. People diagnosed with ALS survive normally between 3-5 years.

Continued research and awareness are so badly needed. All proceeds of the Colorado Pickleball Challenge2ConquerALS will be donated to ALS TDI, the premier nonprofit research center dedicated 100% to finding a cure for ALS.

The event will consist of 20 teams, so get your Captain and put your 8 player team together  - (4 women and 4 men). There will be 3 divisions - ADVANCED (4.5-5.0), INTERMEDIATE (3.5-4.5) AND BEGINNER (BELOW 3.5) 

Games will be played to 15 points - win by 1. Each team will play a minimum of 6 games. Games will be a combination of mens, womens and mixed play.

Awards will be given to each team (not each player) in each bracket for Gold (1st Place), Silver (2nd Place) and Individual Top Fundraiser in each bracket.

There will be a $75 Entry Fee per player which will be donated to ALS TDI. Additional fundraising will be available through registration and you will be set up with a personal fundraising page.  Any additional fundraising will be greatly appreciated, however, is not mandatory.

If you do not have a Team Captain and a Team, just sign up with TEAM C2CALS in your bracket and we will make every effort to place you on a team.
